Margarita & Salsa Festival

The Margarita & Salsa Festival, an annual celebration of food, drinks, music, and laughter, inspired me to infuse vibrant and lively colors that capture the essence of its energetic atmosphere.

Process
During the early stages of my career, our design team received the base logo with the flexibility to adjust colors as needed. Despite the hazy process at that time, this project holds a place in my portfolio due to the vibrant color palette, animated GIFs, and the creative freedom I enjoyed while working on it.
Challenges
Craft a distinctive brand identity for the annual event. Produce promotional content for both digital and print platforms. Pioneer creative strategies for social media interaction:
Solutions
After adjusting the color palette to include magenta and teal, the overall design seamlessly came together. With three artists contributing to the project, each assigned a main color, we employed straight edges for a clean look and angles to infuse energy and excitement. The process flowed organically, and I particularly enjoyed creating GIFs and engaging in the Margarita Battle posts. In the realm of GIFs, I took it upon myself to learn the art of animation for recipe posts. While the margarita characterizations may have been amateurish, the unique styling was inspired by a combination of shape, name, and color, adding a distinct and creative flair to the project.
