FIRSTBranch Strategy
Strategy & Communication
Numerous contracts for the FIRSTBranch product were up for renewal. Tasked with preserving these contracts, I seized the opportunity to deliver value to client-facing teams, aiming to enhance retention rates.
Process
This project commenced with thorough information gathering, assessing our current tools, exploring comparable options, and strategizing on how to enhance client presentations with added value. Brainstorming sessions with the creative director and a colleague shaped our direction. Once the foundation was established, I proceeded to design the necessary items, including a presentation and external document for clients. Collaborating with a copywriter, we refined the content. Post-testing for value, we extended the rollout to other copywriters and designers, distributing responsibilities across the team to assist client-facing teams as tickets came in.
Challenges
Client contracts were approaching renewal; our challenge was to inspire them to continue. Simplifying design concepts for both client-facing teams and clients was key. We aimed to make complex information digestible and easily understood to emphasize the value of a contract extensions.
Solutions
We approached the redesign of our website with a focus on five key pillars: Brand, Audience, Usability, Content, and Goals. Recognizing our clients' affinity for data, we dedicated the first page for each pillar to an educational component, highlighting the essence and importance of that specific element. The second page delves into our tailored approach, offering visual examples. Additionally, we provided a comprehensive document evaluating the client's website against these pillars. This analysis covers what's effective, areas for improvement within each pillar, and our holistic recommendations for enhancing overall performance.
